MOTORIST ALLY VEHICLE PASSPORT

A history worth keeping.
A history worth sharing.

The proposed passport is a living digital record of what was known at purchase, what was inspected, and the maintenance and repairs completed over time. When it's time to sell, create a shareable, privacy-conscious history for prospective buyers.

01 / BUY

Understand the car

Preserve the initial vehicle research, dated inspection, PPSR results and any seller disclosures.

02 / OWN

Keep the history

File invoices and maintenance records, record reported issues and maintain the service timeline.

03 / SELL

Show the evidence

Export an organised history for a buyer, with private details removed and the source of each record identified.

Trust comes from transparency. Records are labelled as independently inspected, document-supported or owner-reported. A history does not certify the vehicle's current condition or guarantee resale value.

GOOD TO KNOW

What you should know before buying.

These limitations are part of transparent automotive advice, not fine print hidden after checkout.

Does Level 1 include a physical inspection?+

No. Level 1 is a remote assessment based on available listings and documents. An independent physical inspection is recommended before buying, especially from a private seller.

Will a seller have to sign the condition declaration?+

No. We can request a factual disclosure of known faults in Level 3. A seller can decline. Any separate contractual warranty would require agreement and suitable legal drafting.

Is the Vehicle Passport a warranty?+

No. The passport is a record and advisory service, not insurance, a mechanical warranty or an assurance against future defects.

Will the passport help me sell my car?+

An organised history can make it easier to show prospective buyers how a vehicle has been maintained. It cannot guarantee a faster sale, higher price or present mechanical condition.

What happens after 12 months?+

A proposed optional $149 annual renewal would include two record updates and one repair quote review. It would not renew automatically in the initial program. You would keep an export of your existing passport even without renewal.

How are dealer extended warranties assessed?+

We can explain written coverage, exclusions, servicing conditions and existing statutory or consumer-guarantee rights. We do not provide regulated financial-product recommendations or arrange insurance products.
